What is one of the most effective ways to promote your brand online? The answer would probably be the influencers. Celebrities, famous actors, singers, and other public figures can make customers trust the brands. GBC Time has highlighted the most iconic casino commercial starring Hollywood superstars.
It seems like the casino ads went to another level thanks to one of the greatest directors of all time – Martin Scorsese. In 2015, the famous director introduced a new film starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, and Brad Pitt.
The movie called “The Audition” is a short piece of art, which tells the story of the fictional versions of DiCaprio and De Niro. The total running time of the film is 16 minutes, but even this short time made a great ad for a casino in Macau.
The plot of the picture tells a fictional story about how DiCaprio and De Niro had to fight for the same role in a Scorsese movie filmed in the Macau casino – Studio City. However, eventually, another competitor, Brad Pitt joins the audition.
Tricky way to promote casino
As this incredible casino resort opened, the question arose of how to attract new visitors. Given that gambling advertising is prohibited in China, it was decided to sponsor a mini-movie.
Summing up, this idea worked out and millions of people found out about the newest casino resort in Macau.

James bond in Macau Casino
Another iconic and legendary promotion for Macau Casino was included in the movie “Skyfall”. What made it the greatest scene? A character of James Bond is arriving at one of the most luxurious casinos in Macau to complete his spy mission. He entrances Macau’s Golden Dragon Casino.
The much-loved character has caused an incredible influx of tourists to the doors of the casino to see this place with their own eyes.
