Microsoft has reached new highs after AI adaptation
Undoubtedly, Microsoft couldn’t miss the AI tendency that’s currently flowing in the tech industry. The brand-new feature – Microsoft 365 Copilot will be officially available for a $30 subscription. It seems like AI technology has irrevocably been adopted by the leading brand, which will positively affect the future of the company in the stock market. Talking more specifically, Microsoft shares already increased by 5.8% as soon as the AI subscription was announced.
Among the primary tasks for the Copilot feature, there are ranking emails, summarizing meetings, data analysis, presentation designing, and much more. At this moment, the AI tool is in the testing stages with 600 enterprise customers.
Moreover, another AI-based feature Bing Chat also got into the wave of upgrading at the company. According to Microsoft itself, “Employees are looking to use AI tools to help them unlock creativity and productivity at work — 70% say they would delegate as much work as possible to AI.” Updated Bing Chat Enterprise is a feature aiming to improve commercial data protection at companies. The tech giant also insists that Microsoft will not have any access to the data.

Elon Musk couldn’t stay apart from a trend – new AI company announced
Musk was always one of those who totally support the technological development that humanity is facing right now. The Twitter owner was one of the first ChatGPT fans who believed in ambitiousness of the AI technology in general. However, eventually, Musk criticized OpenAI for safeguards to prevent generating inaccurate information and sexist statements.
It’s obvious that Musk decided to take the AI future into his hands announcing a brand-new company based on AI. Millionaire posted on Twitter that the primary goal for a company named xAI is “to understand reality.”
It also seems that the announcement was just a first step to the new stage of the company’s history. On June 23, Twitter’s CEO, Linda Yaccarino revealed a new logo and name of the platform. “X is here! Let’s do this,” – she wrote.
There is no doubt that Twitter got into a dead end and faced the necessity of rebranding. Especially noticeable it became when Meta launched a platform analog – Threads. For less than a week, there were more than 100 million accounts registered. While the use of Twitter slowly decreased.
Now, the future of the company mostly depends on the new XAI brand.
Bard by Google vs. ChatGPT by OpenAI
ChatGPT was definitely one of the drivers for Google’s Bard feature. At the beginning of 2023, the big corporate was taking its steps slowly but confidently. Currently, Bard is probably one of the leading AI features in the market due to its functionality, but not to its accuracy. There’s a scheme that Bard’s taking as a foundation – for each question or request, there are three drafts. Mostly, they are the same but differ at some point as it would be if three different people would give three different answers.
There is a perception that accuracy is still one of the Achilles' heel for AI chat generators in general. Users often complain about incorrect dates or inexact information that has no confirmation. But still, one of Bard’s benefits is the free-base use that allows users to experience all the features without paying, which ChatGPT prioritizes its subscribers.
Conclusion
Summing up, it’s obvious that AI is one of the main priorities for leading companies. While the leadership hasn’t been taken by anyone in the market, the tech giants will put all of their efforts to prove their right to be the best provider of AI-based platforms, tools, and instruments.
While companies make everything possible to stay at the leaderboard, authorities are also trying to find the right way of regulation. The US President’s residence recently welcomed seven companies to discuss the safety measures for users, according to the new reality, where AI has already taken its place in our lives. Companies including Amazon, Anthropic, Google, Inflection, Meta, Microsoft і OpenAI committed to following the new safety standards and providing the highest level of cyber protection.
Although the future of AI is not yet clear, we can say with certainty that this technology will not disappear anywhere. And it remains only to look for the right way to live with it and use it for the benefit of business and humanity.
